This course will take you from a complete beginner to a certified domestic gas installer.
On this course you will carry out domestic gas work and will demonstrate gas safety competence by successfully completing nationally agreed assessments, carried out at our ACS approved assessment centres.
IGEM GAS STANDARDS
IGEM is the professional engineering institution for gas – representing thousands of engineers, technicians, managers and other non-engineering roles across the UK and overseas, and hundreds of businesses that are a significant part of the emerging hydrogen supply chain. The Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) provides a comprehensive set of standards for the gas industry, which are widely recognized and utilized by professionals and regulatory bodies. These standards are categorised into several series, each focusing on different aspects of gas engineering and management.
These standards are essential for ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability in the gas industry. They are regularly updated to reflect technological advancements and regulatory changes.
